In the video of the song, a Sikh Gurudwara has been used as the medium of making an announcement to rob of one’s daughter, which offended the religious sentiments of the people.Accused for spreading violence through his songsIn March 2020, an FIR was filed against Sippy Gill at Mehna police station under Sections 153A (promoting disharmony), 505 (making statements conducing to public mischief), 117 (abetting commission of offence by the public or by more than 10 people), and 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code.
