| Controversy | Sexual Assault and Cheating:Shiyas was clouded in a controversy in October 2023 when he was arrested at the Chennai International Airport in Tamil Nadu for his involvement in a sexual assault and cheating case. This arrest came about after a woman filed a complaint at the Chandera Police Station in Kerala. The woman accused Shiyas of deceiving her with false promises of marriage, obtaining around Rs. 11 lakhs from her, and engaging in non-consensual sexual activities since 2021. In response to these allegations, the Kerala police initiated a case against Shiyas and later issued a lookout notice against him.
