Controversy | There is an ongoing controversy regarding the death of Princess Diana, as to whether it was mere car crash or a well planned murder. In 1999 a report was released which said that the driver was at fault for driving at a high speed while being under the influence of alcohol and anti-depressant drugs. Photographers who were earlier blamed for the crash were freed from such charges. Despite the report, rumours regarding the cause of Diana’s death continue to exist till now. Another theory held that it was a planned murder by the royal family, although no additional evidence has been found in this regard. |
